About Us

Dinner for seven does not sound like an unusual event until the shopping list includes antique salt cellars, silver dinnerware and a book from 1913 with all of the trimmings for a great Sunday dinner.

The 1913 Club is an exclusive club of seven friends that meet on Sunday to enjoy time together and to explore the recipes suggested in the book Fifty-two Sunday Dinners: A Book of Recipes by Mrs. Elizabeth O. Hiller. The book details each course and labels each dinner for a particular Sunday of each month.

Arranged on a unique plan, combining helpful suggestions for appetizing, well-balanced menus, with all the newest ideas and latest discoveries in the preparation of tasty, wholesome cookery.
